THE UNITED STATES IS OFTEN MENTIONED AS THE TARGET OF MASSIVE DESTRUCTION

Although we're the most powerful nation on earth and the world's last remaining superpower, the book of Jeremiah 5:27 describes us by saying they have become rich and powerful. And Isaiah 18 says Go swift messengers to a people of smooth-skinned people feared far and wide, with strange speech and whose land is divided by many rivers.

This nation more than any other has many major rivers ranging from the Mississippi, Ohio, Missouri, Columbia, and Colorado Snake divide our land on multiple state boundaries. Other rivers include the Red River dividing Texas from Oklahoma, the Savannah River and the Delaware and there are more I could name that define in part state boundaries in our vast and great land. And as Isaiah foretold, the people would have strange speech. English most definitely would have sounded strange to Isaiah.

THE BIBLE BRINGS US MEANY SPECIFIC, REPEATED MESSAGES

Through research and observation, I have discovered that when certain words, phrases or actions are mentioned in the Bible—written over thousands of years—they refer to this same unique end-time event. Some of these include:

1        FOUR JUDGMENTS: Wherever you find the four judgments mentioned you can recognize it is on the subject of this unique, one-of-a-kind end-time.

THE SWORD,

THE FAMINE,

THE PLAGUE,

THE WILD BEASTS.

2     NORTH REFERENCES: When the word “north” is mentioned with a disaster or an army it equates to the places from which the attackers will come from on the day of the Lord. Because Ezekiel 5:9 says it will only happen once and never again, so you know it is the same event.

3        BIRTH PAINS: When various scriptures mention birth pains or labor pains they give a direct reference likening it to the end-time of distress that beigins with the day of the Lord and culminates in new life, the coming new age.

4        SODOM AND GOMORRA: Whenever these cities get mentioned, the context referes to the time of the end, because they are an example of what is going to happen according to 2 Peter 2 and they were comdenmed and burned to ashes because of their wickedness. So what is going to happen is cities will be burned like them.

5        SCROLL: From early scriptures through Revelations, men who created the Bible through inspiration of God referred to the end-time when they talked about a  scroll, or eating a scroll, or a hand reach out to them and it had a scroll in it with writing on both sides, the contents of the scrolls in different books consistently describes similar judgments lending evidence they are the same. It is as if the Lord made copies of a scroll and passed them out to the men who then wrote down in their words what the scroll says.

IT ALL BEGAN

I now know that what has happened to me is an example of what’s coming to America. In the midst of carrying on a hectic schedule of business affairs, running a real estate office and general contracting jobs, I found myself suddenly stopped cold-turkey. A sudden disaster is upon me. The Day of the Lord is a sudden destruction that comes upon a people who are busy buying and selling and building and planting.

In April 1999, my foot slipped on the edge of a shiny new metal roof we had just installed. I hit the concrete below with extended arms and legs on my left side. I lay there looking at the tip of a bone fragment protruding out of the skin on my left wrist.

I tried to get up. My left ankle wasn’t responding. I went in an instant from a macho hard working man’s-man to lying there helpless—saying, “Help, I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up.”

[Deuteronomy 32:28 says "They are a nation with out sense, there is no discernment in them. If only they were wise and would understand this and discern what their end will be!" A few verses later, it says  "In due time their foot will  slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them." Suddenly my foot slipped!

Say to them, I am a sign to you, As I have done, so it will be done to them. Ezekiel 12:11, in obedience to this scripture I say to you, that I am a sign to you.               

I was helped up by a co-worker and we hopped to my truck on my good leg. My left shoe swung back and forth at the end of my leg, and I dripped a trail of blood down the sidewalk from the chip of bone sticking out of my wrist.

I was admitted in a Reno hospital where I under went orthopedic surgery. I awakened from anesthesia and the first sight I saw was my arm swollen—double its normal size—and I had been impaled with steel bolts that were protruding out out and connected together with rods and clamps.

Then, my eyes followed down my leg where a bar had been run clear through my heel. Connections on both ends of it reached bars that connected to two bolts screwed into my shin bone. The first thing I said to my wife was, “If you don't get me out of this place these hospital bills will bankrupt us.”

Reluctantly, she consented, because we were not insured from being self-employed.

I remained continuously impaled by the $10,000 worth of stainless steel fixtures for an ensuing six-month recovery period.

THE LORD GAVE ME AN URGENT MESSAGE

Immediately after I arrived home from the hospital, my wife brought me medicine and the remote to the TV, and propped me up with several pillows trying to make me as comfortable as possible. She asked, “Is there anything else I can get for you?”

“See if you can find me a Bible,” I said. “I don’t’ know why this has happened to me. But if the Lord wanted to get my attention, he certainly did.”

She returned from the other room with a brand new American Standard Version still in its box.

When I opened it near the middle, my eyes immediately gazed at a verse in Ezekiel 4:4 that began with a capital A. It said:

, “As for you, lie down on your left side.”

There I was, lying down, unable to get up with a shattered left arm and a shattered left leg.

Totally convinced that the Lord was trying to tell me something, I became determined to see what it was talking about.. After all, I had been reading my Bible for more than 20 years, and could never remember having read that verse before. I then read the preceding context trying to see what it meant.

The chapter begins with "Son of man get yourself a brick, build a siege wall, put up a ramp and then get an iron plate and set it up as an iron wall and put it between you and the city. As a builder, I like to know why something is being built.

From that point, I began to read until I got to a verse in the next chapter [5:9] that says, “Because of your abominations, I will do among you what I’ve never done before, the like of which I will never do again.”

I thought about that verse, and thought, “What can this be that God is coming to do, it has never been done before and it will never be done again” With an inquiring mind that wants to know, I read on till I got to Chapter 7:5, and it says, “A disaster, a unique disaster, behold it is coming. An end is coming.” The end has come!

As alarming and frightening as that may sound; it is only referring to the end of this age. The coming tribulation is simply a transition scripturally referred to as birth pains that will result in producing new life, as in the coming new age, commonly referred to as the new millennium, a thousand years of peace on earth and good will to men.

An end is coming. It is an end to war. Because it is the war that ends all wars by completly destroying all of our enemies. It is an end for them. According to Isaiah 2 men will no longer train for war and nation will not rise up against nation any more. That is peace on earth also.

Swords will be beat into plowshares and spears into pruning hooks. This is  WWWIII surplus equipment recycled into implements of agriculture.

An end is coming. It is the end to world hunger. Mankind will no longer be consumed with weapons of war and the tax burden of the present military budget of over 400 billion dollars will not be needed.

When the taxes are reduced the economy surges forward. The best days are yet to come! Continued prosperity for future generations.

I BEGAN TO UNDERSTAND THE LORD’S MESSAGE

It became clear to me that the Book of Ezekiel is similar to the Book of Revelations in that it talks about the time of the end. I then decided that I needed to start at the beginning of the Book of Ezekiel.

I had been home three days, and it was about mid-morning. I had just begun to read in Chapter 1, Verse 4, where it says Ezekiel looked and he saw coming out of the north a great cloud of fire enfolding itself—surrounded by brilliant light.

Right as I was thinking, “Can this be a description of a nuclear mushroom cloud?” there was a knock at the front door. I couldn’t get up and answer it, my leg was broken, so I just hollered: “Come on in!”

An 80-year-old friend of mine named Doc came in and sat down. He said, “I heard you were hurt, so I thought I’d stop by and check on you to see how you’re doing.”

I’m now convinced the Lord sent him, because after visiting a few minutes, I told him about the verse in Ezekiel 1:4 that I had just been reading right when he knocked on the door.

DOC GAVE ME A STUNNING ANSWER

I asked Doc, “Do you think the Ezekiel could be talking about a mushroom cloud of a nuclear bomb?”

He began to tell me how he had been in the South Pacific on a ship in the Navy after World War II. They were conducting atomic bomb tests. He said, “I’ve seen those bombs go off. We were all ordered, ‘You must tightly close your eyes, and cover your eyes with your forearm."

Doc said that when the bomb detonated, every man on the ship saw the bones in his forearm, with his tightly closed eyes. Ezekiel says that fire cloud is surrounded by a brilliant light. Now that definitely qualifies as brilliant light. It has since occurred to me how rare of a man Doc was to have personally witnessed nuclear bomb tests and how strange to have a man like that knock on my front door at the same time I was reading Ezekiel 1:4. Truly the Lord sent him to explain these things to me.

Still I wasn’t totally convinced that is what this scripture describes. But I became even more determined to carefully review the Bible for further evidence—in support of a nuclear holocaust.

After all, I was held hostage by my broken body and  had no where to go with an abundance of time. This was totally new for me.

           NUCLEAR BOMBS  DELIVERED BY JET AIRCRAFT

What Ezekiel Chapter 1 clearly warns of will come out of the north, a windstorm and an immense cloud with flashing lightning. With what seems to be the description of a mushroom cloud followed by these details; it is not difficult perceive them to be jets.

Ezekiel says he sees what appears to be the likeness of four living creatures come out of the midst of the fire cloud. One biblical version says they gleam like burnished bronze [an indication they are made of metal]. They each one have four faces and each one has four wings, with two that touch one another.

Observation of modern jet aircraft flying in tight formation, their wings can appear to be touching. They are often in groups of four together—even while moving straight forward without turning, as a jet in flight.

And Ezekiel never says they are living creatures, only having the likeness of living creatures. It is the same as a bowl of wax fruit sitting on a table has a likeness to fruit, but you cannot eat it. In addition, he specifies that these creatures have four faces—of a man, lion, ox, and an eagle; but no mention of four heads.

First impulse is to think of a face as part of a head; but the word face has other meanings. As in face of the earth; face of a cliff. What is your face? It is your unique identifiable characteristic. It is the single most obvious feature that identifies you from others.  

Man is known as most Intelligent

The Lion is known as a ferocious Predator.

The ox is known for it's Power.

The eagle is the superior master of the Sky

Jets would appear to a man from ancient times to be Intelligent; Predatory; Powerful; and masters of the sky all at the same time.

Try to understand what it would be like to live in the time of Ezekiel and then be shown future events taking place in today's modern time. After the things you are shown you are instructed to go and write down what you saw. Ezekiel was a rare man in his day in that few men were educated to read and write; but he was intelligent and educated.

I see the evidence in his writing that he witnessed these future events as they were happening. I suspect that time has no barriers for God. He can freely go forward into the future and back into the past.

This would lend credibility to the concept of time travel. My insight of other scriptures include details of modern warfare and weapons of mass destruction.

 IMPORTANCE OF SIEGE WALLS

In the section where it says to lie on your left side are instructions to put a barrier between yourself and the city: “Get yourself a brick, and build a siege wall.”

Then, it says to get an iron plate like steel-reinforced masonry for the wall, which must be strategically placed between you and the metropolitan area.

This design would effectively deflect the 400-mile-per-hour winds produced by a nuclear blast, protecting you as you lay on your left side behind the wall.

THE BIBLE COMMANDS YOU TO TAKE NOTICE AND TO GET READY

In modern building codes today, iron is used in reinforcement of masonry block and necessary to withstand seismic activity.

We’re instructed to gather enough food and other resources to survive at least one year—long enough for most of the radiation to dissipate.

Also, homes constructed with brick or concrete exteriors, especially those reinforced with iron, are more likely to remain standing than wood structures outside ground-zero areas.

Today, there’s a misconception that a nuclear blast produces radiation that will make an area uninhabitable for thousands of years.

Yet we know from Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japanese communities obliterated by nuclear blasts at the end of World War II, that such communities can be rebuilt over time. Those regions now have thriving populations.

WHO SHOULD BUILD SIEGE WALLS?

Build a siege wall if you’re outside of a major metropolitan area, but far enough away that the actual blast is unlikely to cause death.

People living or staying overnight in major cities—at or very close to ground zero areas—would not survive the explosions even if they had built siege walls there.

It is imperative that you avoid staying at these target areas, particularly at night during the new moon when the bombs will explode.

Instead, you should live or work in mountain or countryside areas where there is a much greater chance of long-term survival. According to Ezekiel 7: all who survive and escape will be in the mountains.

THE LORD KEPT GIVING ME NEW SIGNS

At the time of my accident, I had planned to build and lease out a new office building, to a cable TV company and even had signed a notice of intent to do that.

But my injury and the recovery process made this impossible. Prayerfully, I opened my Bible seeking direction about this existing commitment. My eyes focused on Jeremiah 45:5, which asks: “Should you then seek great things for yourself? Seek them not, for I will bring disaster on all people declares the Lord. But wherever you go, I will let you escape with your life.” The Lord certainly had my attention, just like what I’m trying to get your's now.

This end-time disaster is coming and it requires us to stop seeking great things for ourselves, and change our plans to make way for the coming of the Lord. His plans supercede ours and Amos 3:6 says "Surely the sovereign Lord God does nothing without first revealing His plans to His servants the prophets."

Up to this point in life, I had been seeking to become wealthy, to have commercial properties full of tenants—generating monthly cash flow for me and my family. I telephoned my client, and told them what had happened to me. And we mutually agreed to indefinitely postpone our plans.
