Isaiah 1:4 NIV Ah, sinful nation, a people loaded with guilt a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption. They have forsaken the Lord; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him. Amos 9:8 NIV Surely the eyes of the Sovereign Lord are on the sinful kingdom. I will destroy it from the face of the earth - yet I will not totally destroy the house of Jacob.” Declares the Lord. Isaiah 3:9 NIV The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves. Jeremiah 5:7,8 NIV I supplied all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of prostitutes. They are well-fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for another man’s wife.

The house of Israel is who this punishment is coming upon. According to Jeremiah 5:27-28, they have become rich and powerful and grown fat and sleek. Americans are experiencing an epidemic of obesity. We are the richest, most powerful country the world has ever seen. Amos 3:1-2 Here this word the Lord has spoken against you...”You only have I chosen of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your sins.” Isaiah 1:4 Ah, sinful nation, a people loaded with guilt, a brood of evil doers, children given to corruption. They have forsaken the Lord; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him. Why should you be beaten anymore? The stock market collapsed; major corporations were exposed as fraudulent, eroding investor confidence; we were attacked by enemy/terrorists [9/11], record breaking storms and weather extremes; even major unprecedented power outages have failed to get our attention. Why do you persist in rebellion? We have just thrown the TEN COMMANDMENTS out of the courthouses. We do not seem to be very good at catching on. Amos 3:6 clearly says when a disaster comes to a city, it is the Lord that caused it. The insurance companies find it convenient to refer to these disasters as “ACTS of GOD”. Isaiah 66:16 For with fire [nuclear bomb is a 10,000,000 degree ball of fire] and with his sword the Lord will execute judgment upon all men, and many will be those slain by the Lord. In days to come you will understand it clearly...Jere.23:20. Isa. 26:9...When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world will learn righteousness. It would appear that we cannot learn any other way. I supplied all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of prostitutes Jeremiah 5:7. One day I read in my Bible Isaiah 3:9. It says they parade their sin like Sodom. I highlighted that verse and thought how it sounds like the American society. When I finished reading my Bible and put it away, I picked up the remote and turned the TV on. When the TV came on the Reno Gay Pride Parade was on the news. To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The word of the Lord is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it. But I am full of the wrath of the Lord, and cannot hold it in. Jer. 6:10-11. Although British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, worked hard with President George W. Bush to get the U.N. Security Council to pass a resolution with an ultimatum to Sadam Hussein to comply with passed resolution 1441 they could not get support from either France, Germany or Russia, the Secretary General of the U.N. Security Council has ruled the coalition (USA, UK & Australia) attack of Iraq was illegal. Daniel chapter 7 tells that the second beast is a bear who is told to rise up and devour much flesh. The bear has 3 ribs (USA, UK, Australia) in its mouth. Ezekiel chapter 1:4 explains a fire cloud is coming from the North (Russia - Bear). In Daniel 7, the first beast is a lion with wings of an eagle. It is representing the United Kingdom (the Lion) and the United States of America (the Eagle). As is Jeremiah 3 where they are described as having become rich and powerful; having grown fat and sleek and also thronging to the houses of prostitution and committing adultery. Jeremiah goes on to ask us if these powers should not be punished for this behavior. However, they are not to be destroyed completely. Daniel 7’s first beast (the Lion with wings of an Eagle) is having the feathers pulled out or torn off and can only walk; it is not completely destroyed - like Sampson’s hair, feathers grow back. A new heart is given to it. In both the book of Joel, and in Ezekiel 18:31, the Lord is pleading to turn from sin. Get a new heart and a new spirit; why die, for I take no pleasure in the death of anyone declares the Lord; Repent & Live! In Daniel 7, the second beast (the Bear) is told to rise up and devour. Who tells Russia what to do? It will be the Secretary General of the U.N. Security Council (See additional info about Germany & China’s new strategic partnership to work on establishing world peace & stability. Who do they think is disturbing the peace and causing instability if not the U.S.A., U.K. and Australia? All of which have been declared in violation of international law?
